entrelac for spring

The weather this past week has been quite wonderful. I've spent a bit of time sitting out on the front lawn with EmEm, she can't walk far but she loves the sunshine. So when she's tired I spread out a blanket and we sit, and sometimes I knitI'm making a springy version of this bag that I made a couple of years ago.
EmEm suffers the indignity of having to wear the knitting, and it's not even clothes...

Oh, this is going to look beautiful, especially in these cheerful colours! But EmEm doesn't look too happy as a model - same goes for my kitty, whenever I "use" her as a model, she's grumpy with me for the rest of the day ;)

Next year, I will learn to do entrelac & so I'll be watching to see whether that's a suitable first project.

Owe, what a cutie EmEm is! She looks so dignifyed, even with your knitting! Hope she doesn't suffer too much, poor thing! Every minute in the sunshine counts! ;o)
