hot and sticky

90+ degrees, 100% humidity. I think summer has officially arrived. For some reason, I think the roses like it...

A package from my Secret Pal arrived for me on Friday, filled with many goodies. Kniting cards, I love stationery, bath stuffs, it smells heavenly, and of course yarn. Classic Elite Wings, luscious and soft in a beautiful blue. If I weren't so hot I'd be knitting with it right now. So here's a shout out to my Secret Pal: Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
SP5 surprise

As for my knitting, I'm still working on my tempting. I hoping to have it finished this weekend. Hopefully the gods will shine on me, and work won't be too stressful this week. (We're stuck in a holding pattern of sorts, as we await the new changes that are inevitable when new management comes.) Anyway here are the sleeves waiting to be joined with the body of the sweater...

Have a great week and Happy Knitting!

What a beautiful yellow rose! The heat and humidity do take a little of the fun out of knitting.

Those are amazing photos. I wish my yellow roses looked that good but the high heat is really starting to take it's toll. We are also down 8" of rainfall here in Oklahoma, which my flowers don't like at all.

I can't wait to see those sleeves fully attached.

I LOVE your photos. What camera did you say you use? I need one!
They definately love the heat & humidity...unlike me. I love summer...just not the humidity. :-)
