Manos and a Nap

THe LYS near my work is having their fall sale. So I spent my lunch buying this...Manos de Uruguay...

The dog thinks it makes a great pillow...I must remember not to leave the dog alone with the yarn.

RL is kicking my butt this week, and I haven't knit a single stitch. So much for productivity. At the moment, my schedule is quite horrid . It's only the 3rd week in September, and I won't have a free weekend until after Thanksgiving. And then it's Christmas. I guess I won't be knitting my Christmas presents this year.

I love that yarn. What are you planning on making with it?

(The dog is very cool too).

RL can be the pits sometimes, can't it? Hope you get to pick your needles back up again soon.

That Manos is beautiful! I hope it inspires you to pick up the needles for a little R & R when you find a moment to escape RL!

Wow, you've chosen some gorgeous Manos. Any particular plans for it (if you can get it away from the dog, that is. :D)?

RL has no respect for my knitting schedule either. I had all sorts of grand plans for knitting Holiday presents, too, but between RL and hobby budget it's not going to happen. At least not the way I planned.

Is that pup a basset? I LOVE long close to the gound doggies. Mine is a scottie, but I had a serious relationship with a basset as a kid.

That's one of my favorite colorways of Manos... I love it... it ties with... um... all the other colorways of Manos?

And my furry kids aren't allowed near the Manos either... too expensive. Fortunately, the only fiber snob with four feet in my house has a mohair obsession...
