It's snowing in Virginia again. Two years ago, I would have cursed mother nature for snowing on the weekend, instead in the middle of the week, when I could have a snow day. Unfortunately those days are gone. I'm not quite sure what about my job makes it so essential, but being labeled an essential employee requires that I report to work, on time, in a blizzard. Granted the paltry four inches of snow outside, is no where near a blizzard, but I'm already dreading my morning commute. I hate traffic.
It's amazing how beautiful and peaceful the snow can be. This morning I trekked outside with my camera. Living in the suburbs, pictures of scenic vistas are not quite attainable, so I settled for these...
the tulip tree...
the rosemary...
the azaleas...
the strange looking twiggy tree parts...
and Em-Em, chilled by the snow on her tummy...
I'm starting to feel much better, and I've put a little bit of effort into my knitting. So here's a bit of my Manos bag...

Nice photos, Eyeleen! I love gardening and I think your shots of herbs in the snow are amazing.
